TOYS FOR THE COLLECTOR ? 11th OCTOBER
We had a great Toy auction with over 850 lots on Saturday. It was very well attended for both the viewing days and the auction itself.
The Diecast, Toys and Dolls all sold well, and the Train section did exceedingly well. There was some great James Bond items included in the auction, and again these sold for some good prices.
We have already spoken to quite a few of the vendors and they are really pleased with the results from the auction.

JEWELLERY, COINS, WATCHES & SILVER ? 7th NOVEMBER
We have over 600 lots, with 400 lots of Fine and Costume Jewellery in the auction. Along with the Jewellery there is a good selection of over 200 lots of Works of Art, Pens, Clocks, Coins, Notes and Silver and Silver Plated items.
The catalogue will coming back to us this week, and you can order a copy for only ?5.00, or it will be on our website in the next few days.
TRAINS GALORE ? 12th DECEMBER
This will be our second Trains Galore auction at Special Auction Services. The auction is looking really great with lots of interesting items of all gauges including 00 / H0, 0, Gauges 1, 2 ?, 3 ?, and 5 inch Gauges, along with other scale models and live steam items. Typical manufacturers included are Wrenn, Hornby, Marklin, Bachmann, and much more?
The front cover has been shot and looks really great, So thanks to Lucie and Hugo Marsh for their hard work.
We will be starting the photography for Trains Galore next week.
Please also come along and join us for the evening viewing and reception on Thursday 11th December. The evening will allow you to view items and enjoy a festive mulled wine and minced pies.

SIGNED & DESIGNED ? 19th SEPTEMBER
Signed & Designed was our first sale of the season. Even in these turbulent times the good quality items sold well. There was an interesting collection of shop display items and dummies that all sold particularly well indeed. There was also a large selection of Glass, Ceramics, Works of Art, Lighting and Furniture. The auction itself and the viewing were well attended.
We are now inviting entries for April 2009 auction!
NEW PHOTGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT
We are very pleased with the results of our investment in our new photographic equipment. We hope you will benefit from better quality images long into the future?
LOOKING AHEAD TO 2009
We have already catalogued over 500 lots for the Toys for the Collector on January 11th 2009. There will be some very interesting Diecast up for auction, along with more James Bond items and a very good collection of Vintage and more recent Star Wars items (including lifesize figures of Darth Maul and Jah Jah Binx)
