A post-war Schuco Janus two-faced Teddy Bear, with blonde mohair, black pin eyes, black stitched nose and mouth, the reverse face with painted metal googly eyes and smiling mouth with red plastic tongue, metal framed jointed body and brass knob to turn head —3 ½in. (9cm.) high (slightly faded) - this actual bear appears on page 113 of The Teddy Bear Encyclopaedia by Pauline Cockerill and Some of our Favourite Bears by Ian Pout, page 19
