A rare Farnell ‘soldier’ Pip the dog from Pip Squeak and Wilfred, circa 1920, with black and white mohair, yellow and black glass eyes, pipe-cleaner ears, white mohair muzzle, painted nose, black stitched mouth, swivel head, pin-jointed limbs, white mohair paws and brown oil-cloth collar —4in. (10cm.) high (back of head seam open, will close with a few stitches and probably missing tail)
