"Entrée de sa majesté Louis XVIII à Paris le 3 mai 1814" (the return of the French monarchy), Etching with aquatint and original hand-colour. Engraved by Louis Le Coeur (fl.1784-1825). Extensive lettering describing the scene. Published by Jean-Baptiste(?) Genty (fl.1814-1834) & Jacques Louis Bance (1761-1847), Paris, Circa 1814. Measures:- 45 cm x 55 cm (framed). In an antique maple veneered frame. Note:- The image includes the balloon flown by Sophie Blanchard the "official aeronaut of the Restoration".
