An early Steiff teddy bear, circa 1910, with blonde mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and remains of claws, swivel head, jointed elongate limbs with felt pads, hump and inoperative growler —12in. (30.5cm.) high (very worn, pads damaged, feet pars recovered, patched hole to right side of muzzle, face stitching replaced and small hole in back of head); and a recent grey cardigan
