Dear all fans of Dave Myers and The Hairy Bikers,
It is with bittersweet emotion, we at Special Auction Services, present this auction titled very fittingly
‘Dave Myers from Make-Up Artist to Hairy Biker and everything in-between!’
Dave Myers, a man I never met, but I wish did! I loved watching him and Si ride around the globe full of enthusiasm and love of all cultures and gastronomy, the passion just oozed out of the screen, apart from wanting to try all of their recipes the enjoyment of the cooking and preparing fantastic plates of food would have been enough for me! However, that all changed when I took a phone call from his fabulous wife Lili!
She asked if we could help her with some of Daves items. I arranged to meet her and we sat down in her beautiful sitting room with coffee and had a good old chat!
The man I knew as Dave the Hairy Biker, Strictly star and much loved national treasure who was cruelly taken too soon from us all especially his lovely family, was someone who had lived so much more than the public knew, as this auction goes to prove.
Special Auction Services are honoured to be given the opportunity to put together with the wonderful help of Lili and Teddy (the dog) these very unique lots.
From his early years at Goldsmiths, to his love of the Pre-Raphaelites, his work as a Make-Up artist to some of the great late 20th and 21st Century Hollywood film stars, and even his keen eye for all things antique and his unwavering sense of style. I trust that there are lots to whet your appetite, the ingredients within them which will create an enticing recipe which will not only give you a very warm feeling but taste fabulous and suit all palates!
Please enjoy the auction come and view, bid live either in the room or online @specialauctionservices.com
