A concertina peepshow of the Thames Tunnel from the Wapping Entrance, circa 1845, in marbled paper cover with ‘An Explanation of the Tunnel Under the Thames’ on inside front cover with information including it opened March 25, 1843 and costing £446,000 and four page printed view through the tunnel, hard coloured with cut-out and applied pedestrians —7 ¼in. (18.5cm.) wide (crudely restitched at spine, some wear and ageing)
