A very unusual 19th Century art pottery model of a cat (possibly the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland), the moulded body with an aubergine glaze. Eyes and mouth open, Chinoiserie pierced apperture to the back. Seemingly unmarked. 23 cm high. Very good condition.
