A Burmantofts art pottery turquoise glazed earthenware pottery relief portrait wall plaque, signed lower right "P. Mallet" for Pierre Mallet (fl.1887-1896) impressed "Burmantofts Faience" mark to the back. Measures 28 cm diameter. Good condition, an area of discolouration or staining to the hair and similar small patch to neckline. Fine craquelure commensurate with age.
