A rare British Coronation Teddy Bear, circa 1937, with red artificial silk plush head and arms with red felt pads, white plush body and blue legs with blue felt pads, clear and black glass eyes, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs and inoperative squeaker —15 ½in. (39.5cm.) high (bald spots to body, some general wear); and a Edward VIII 1936 Coronation brooch with original card - this actual bear appears on page 89 of The Teddy Bear Encyclopaedia by Pauline Cockerill and Some of our Favourite Bears by Ian Pout, page 31
