"Buonaparte" a very early portrait print of the young General Napoléon Bonaparte (1769-1821), stipple engraving by Élisabeth G Herhan (fl. 1798-1810) after Jean Urbain Guérin (1760/61-1836). Published 1797 by Antoine Auguste Renouard (1765-1853). "Déposé à la Bibliothèque Nationale le 29 Fructidor, An 6 de la République Française [15 September 1797] / à Paris, chez A. A. Renouard, rue André-des-Arcs No. 42". In a decorative antique gilt frame. 29.5 cm x 24.5 (framed).
