An early Steiff burlap elephant on wheels, circa 1908, with grey plush, black boot button eyes on pink felt backs, felt tusks, red felt saddle cloth and cast iron spoked wheels —8 ½in. (21.5cm.) high (some thinning, hole to left side of chest, hole to underside of trunk, hole stitched to rear left side, nibbled to saddle cloth)
