An unusual mid 19th century Grodnerthal dolls’ house black doll, head, hands and feet painted black, yellow tuck comb, painted eyes, nostril dots and mouth, jointed wooden body, black suits with black piece of cloth stitched to arm over shoulder —3 ¼in. (8.5cm.) high (one leg jointed loose, so leg appears longer) - certainly a period paint finish, done at the same time as dress, but the original pink flesh underneath
