A 19th Century Percussion Pocket Pistol by Read of Helston, having 1 3/4'' turn off barrel with Birmingham proof marks, circa 1840s-1850s, rifled bore, body with floral swap design to one side and 'Read' and 'Helston' to the other, with side percussion cap hammer, two position cocking, with flat sided wooden, Sold as an exempt item under Section 58 (2) of the 1968 Firearms Act, to be held as a curiosity or ornament
