This auction is the re-scheduled sale from 19th May 2020
The 23rd June Music and Entertainment Online Auction will contain nearly 400 lots – In order to reduce the need for viewing to a minimum, the larger ‘Box’ Lots of Records, Books and Posters have been entered into the next auction on 28th July where we anticipate there may be more opportunity for viewing
The Vinyl section is made up of individual records and small record lots and the highlights include rare Progressive originals from the likes of Juicy Lucy, Gentle Giant, Pink Floyd, Caravan, Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, Faust, Genesis and many more; Jazz from the likes of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, John Surman, Charlie Mingus; Rare original UK Stereo Classical albums plus all the usual Beatles, Stones, Reggae, Soul and more. We also have the first section of a large Neil Young Collection which includes Vinyl, Posters, Signed items and more plus we are still going with the seemingly infinite Richard Eyles classic Rock and Prog collection!
The Memorabilia section includes a number of signed Beatles items from one collector including a fully signed Please Please Me LP, a 1965 first day cover stamp issue signed by all four, a John Lennon signature and ‘doodle’ picture and more. From the same collection come further signed items by The Animals, Yardbirds, Black Sabbath and more
We also have two fabulous ‘Bally’ Pinball machines of Elton John and the Rolling Stones both in great working order.
Another highlight is a one owner collection of Award discs with artists including Madonna, Motorhead, Michael Jackson
Music Posters feature a number of Neil Young concert posters plus rare Sex Pistols items
There are a large number of Film Posters from a one-owner collection including rare UK Quads and US 1 Sheets with Carry On.. and James Bond films among them (There are also a number of Bond items in the Entertainment memorabilia section including signed photos)
The Musical Instrument section has a large number of guitars from a single collector including Gibson, Fender, Kramer, Framus Epiphone and more
