Our May Antiques and collectables sale features a wide variety of items for every collector and over 150 lots of wine and wine accessories.
The Antiques section includes a fine collection of Modern Moorcroft pottery items, all in very good condition and the vast majority boxed. Additionally, there are some lovely Royal Doulton limited edition figures, all boxed and many with their certificates of authenticity, including figures from the ‘Gentle Arts’ collection which were all limited to 750 per piece, and Royal family examples.
Other highlights include a fantastic copy of ‘An Account of the Kingdom of Nepaul in the year 1793’, by Colonel William Kirkpatrick, published in 1811. In a lovely leather binding, it has the original fold out map of Nepal, with a small rip and some lovely coloured bookplates. In our furniture section we are offering a lovely long Caucasian runner, over five meters long, with its original Harvey Nichols retail label on the underside.
The wine section consists primarily the contents of two private wine cellars. The majority French Red and white wines from a variety of regions. Also in our wine sale is a wide range of Whisky’s, mostly Scottish Single Malts including a fantastic bottle of The Macallan 18 year old single malt whisky, distilled in 1968 still in its cardboard packaging
